"Ok stay" 5/5

"Good rate and decent accommodations. Might consider again."

Quiet, No Frills

Special Tip

Book early, might find rates under $60/night.

Pros

Low rate

Cons

Website lists many amenitIes that are false. HBO is advertised and a friend was fighting for the featherweight championship of the world. Turns out there was no HBO. No excuse for making false statements.

"Nice hotel with many available rooms. Not sure why they have more vacancy than surrounding hotels despite lower prices. Great value!"

"Convenient Budget Hotel Close to Everything." 4/5

Reginald Stoker

"For the price and location this is a good hotel to stay at if you want to be close to most things at a very reasonable price. It is basically a no-frills type hotel. If you want the high end experience this is not your hotel. However, if you're the type that the room is secondary and being in the flow of things is primary, then this is your hotel. The room was basic and clean and had a bathroom in the room, which a lot of San Francisco budget hotels don't. The room had a telephone, flat screen with basic dish network, a room safe and a big Jacuzzi tub and shower. It also had an iron and board and a hair dryer. I probably would stay there again since I would rather spend my money on fun not on a hotel room. Please keep in mind that this hotel is in the city center so you will experience some noise from the street, but it was not overly disruptive."

No Frills

Special Tip

I stayed in a room with a king bed and it did not have a fridge, so don't plan on bringing any items that need refrigeration.

Pros

Within walking distance to Chinatown, Financial District, Civic Center, North Beach/Italian, all the premium shopping stores and a short walk to the Bart and Muni rail systems. Lots of different types of eateries within a few blocks including some 24hr on

Cons

Small rooms, lack of Air Conditioning(only a problem if your room faces the sun since the curtains are thin) and the bed was not too comfortable, but I've slept on worse in some budget hotels. Jacuzzi tub did not work(after all the walking I was really so
