"Cheap, Near Chinatown, Cable Cars, Shopping, Tour Buses, Helpful, Personal, Clean" 5/5

"At first sight, it doesn´t look very nice and more like cheaper hotel (what it is) but the very helpful employes at the reception, the cleanness and the good American breakfast make the difference. Near to Chinatown, Union Square and its shops, the Cable Cars and the cityseeing drop on and off buses. "

"San Francisco visit" 4/5

"We stayed in San Francisco for two days. We chose this hotel because it offered a suite at a reasonable price. Travelling with two teenage girls, we felt a suite would be a better idea for some privacy. The hotel is in an older building which has been recently renovated. The room was clean, a little small but therefore quiet since we were on the sixth floor, not facing the street. There bathroom was recently retiled and new looking. Only odd thing was the toilet seat looked like an original part of the hotel- showed lots of wear and tear. Hotel offered a nice, basic breakfast in the price. Being by Union Square, there was lots of access to mass transit and cable cars (which are expensive and used only by tourists). Hotel offered free internet (important for my teens). The only negative about the hotel is that they did not have on site parking. There is a parking garage two doors up where the car can be safely left, but it cost me 30 dollars a night. While checking on hotels in San Fran, this appears to be a general problem. I would probably stay here again."

Comfortable, No Frills

Price was reasonable for a suite if you do not have problems with staying in an older building. Breakfast was included. A ten minute walk to Chinatown for a good dinner.

Parking expensive.
